Historic Hannibal

Explore historic Hannibal, Missouri! Tom Sawyer & Becky Thatcher will greet our group as we visit the boyhood home and inspiration of author, Mark Twain. Our step-on guide will take us on a sightseeing tour of Hannibal’s most notable attractions including the downtown district. Our next stop will be the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum Properties, which are located in the heart of downtown Hannibal. Tour participants will have the opportunity to enjoy downtown as well, which is filled with restaurants, shopping opportunities, art galleries, and the Hannibal History Museum. We will also enjoy a riverboat cruise with commentary on river history, legends and sights, riverboats, and even see Jackson’s Island, Lover’s Leap, and the mighty Mississippi River rolling along. Our final destination will be Hannibal’s newest car & pop culture museum. Karlock’s Kars & Popular Culture showcases a collection of several classic cars and iconic items from famous movie props to Steve McQueen’s motorcycle! Trip includes transportation, admission, and tours. Meals will be on your own. Considerable walking is involved.
