Thanksgiving and the Turkey, A History  

Thanksgiving is synonymous with turkey. This class discusses the true history of Thanksgiving, the turkey as a cultural symbol and the center of the dinner table, as well as presidential turkey pardons, turkey raffles, and turkey drives. It will also examine how Americans celebrated Thanksgiving from the 17th century to modern time.
