Cannabis Conversations for Consumers   

In this class we will discuss cannabis, cannabinoids, and terpenes and the potential benefits they offer. We will discuss dosing using different forms of cannabis and how to avoid euphoria when undesired. The class will offer valuable information on how to start either medically or recreationally with many opportunities to have your questions and concerns addressed. Upon completion of this class you will feel confident when entering a dispensary to start your cannabis journey. Objectives include:

  • Basic understanding of the endocannabinoid system, cannabinoids and terpenes
  • Basic understanding of dosing with different cannabis products
  • Greater understanding of the consumers responsibilities regarding consumption, storage and transportation of cannabis in Illinois
  • Understanding of the Illinois Medical Cannabis Program and how to become a qualified patient
