Pharmacy Technician Program   

The Pharmacy Technician course is 12 weeks of classroom instruction for individuals interested in a career as a Pharmacy Technician. This course will give you a solid foundation in the skills necessary for employment as a Pharmacy Technician and will prepare you for the PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) exam. Learn about the origin and history of pharmacy, calculating doses, drug regulation and controls, transcribing physician’s orders, correct medication packaging, and much more.

In order to be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois, you must have earned a high school diploma or G.E.D.; have no felonies or drug charges; and must become certified within two years of registration with the Division of Professional Regulation.

    $1,850 lump or divided into four payments. First payment will be $400, followed by two payments of $500, and a final payment of $450.
