    The Hazardous Materials Certification Workshop prepares students for their Hazardous Materials Endorsement (H) to their Commercial Drivers License. Students must have a valid CDL to enroll and have provide a background/fingerprint check. Fingerprints and background screens can be completed through Identogo.  Students who successfully complete their ELDT training are eligible to test for their Hazardous Material Endorsement.

The session also introduces students to the professional standards and responsibilities expected within the trucking industry, such as compliance with federal and state regulations, workplace conduct, and employer expectations.

    By the end of the orientation, students will have a clear understanding of what is required to succeed in the program and in their future careers as professional drivers.
