Online Course
This National Safety Council four-hour program presented in an online format will give you the opportunity to improve your traffic skills, decrease the possibility of future traffic violations, and reduce the possibility of serious collisions. The Peoria County Traffic Safety Program serves as an alternative for individuals who have been charged with minor traffic violations. It is a court approved course offered in partnership with the Circuit Court of the Tenth Judicial Circuit, Peoria County, State of Illinois.
Individuals are allowed to take this program once for an offense committed within a 12-month period. After successfully registering, you will receive an email with instructions for accessing the online course within 24 - 48 business hours. It is your responsibility to complete the course by the due date given to you by the court.
For Peoria County Only: Your ticket must be paid in full and we must have your case number in order for you to receive the access code. If you did not receive your ticket in Peoria County, it is your responsibility to present the certificate of completion to the courthouse.
For individuals between the ages of 16 – 20 years old: if you didn't receive your ticket in Peoria County, please check with the county's courthouse first before registering for the online class as not all counties accept online class completion.
Holiday Closure Announcement:
- Winter Closure: Our office will be closed from December 21st through January 1st. Access codes purchased after noon (12:00 p.m.) on December 20th will not be issued until Thursday after noon (12:00 p.m.) January 2nd at the earliest.
